Hey look new items! Ok kind of. What did you expect? I’m always the last one to post. Anyways, these shorts are new from Doppelganger. Another great pair of shorts–Are there ever enough? No. This shirt is also new…ish from Fri.day. I love it because it has rolled capped sleeves. Doesn’t it just look comfy? Plus they’re film based and being a movie-addict, it makes them all the more attractive.

Right now there’s a retirement sale going on at scribble. Everything with a rocking chair is on sale for some deep discounts. I got this cute little bunny for only 60L (at least I think it was 60L). But if there’s stuff you want to stock up on, better get down there soon before it’s gone!!

So here’s a question for designers….I modded this ankle bandana to go on my wrist. So far, I haven’t really seen many wrist wraps/bracelets/cuffs like it. (If there are some out there, PLEASE let me know)…but could we get some more of these? That would be awesome <33.

Posts may become fewer and father between soon. I’m just not spending the time on sl that I used to and I don’t really want to spend the money. So I’m working slowly on opening a furniture store…but until then, I guess shopping is going to be a luxury.

On a happier note…Omg Shoes. Yes shoe fair. Took me a while to post an item I got from shoe fair, but these boots from Kookie were just too hot not to blog about. I think I own at least one pair of every shoe from Kookie, so of course I had to buy this one with all the buckles and laces and hello wedge heel! If I were so inclined, I could walk around sl in just these shoes and nothing else–but yeah, I like clothes too, so I’m not that inclined.

Furniture from {what next} for project themeory

Once again I’m wearing the new Atomic ripped skinny jeans. Do I take them off? Hardly. They really are the perfect jeans on sl. Oh and this scarf? It’s pretty awesome isn’t it? It and the shirt are part of Tres Blah’s stumblebum item for the week. Pick it up while you can! I know I could always do with a few more scarves on sl. I can’t wait for fall and winter again. Scarf season is always my favorite.

As school gets closer, I find myself channeling my inner “geek.” Let’s face it, the look really isn’t geeky, but it’s kind of reminiscent of my rebellious high school days. And by rebellious I mean I didn’t study for my tests or write my papers until the night before they were due. I was a bad one, indeed. And when I say was, I pretty much mean am. I’m almost the same person I was a few years back except I pay for my own clothes now. So, I scratch the prior statement up there–this look is reminiscent of my rebellious college days.

I really haven’t been on sl the past few days. Instead I’ve been doing things like sleeping and exercising and cooking and knitting–”normal” people things. Ok maybe knitting isn’t so normal and maybe I should have taken up smoking instead of spending so much on yarn, but…I’m getting off-topic aren’t I?

These are the ripped skinny jeans from Atomic. <3. The top's from Atomic too–it was up for project themeory last week, but since Ivy just put the stumblebum item up, I'm pretty sure it's gone. I should have blogged it sooner, right? You have noooo idea how many comments I got on my cleavage. Good thing I didn't wear a cleavage enhancer. Sheesh! I won't lie, despite the unnecessary attention (or sometimes, necessary), I love this top. It's adorable and sexy and came in great colors. Hopefully, like the jeans, it'll get released as a regular item.

I feel like I’m off to have afternoon tea with the boys at the club. Or like a classy, British pimp…This is as close to pimpin as you’ll ever see me. Power in the cane. That’s right. But no, really…this cane from Deco is amazing. I love it. And of course it goes well with the watch necklace I’m donning–at least in my opinion it does. Deco makes great jewelry and accessories. And the animation overrides my AOs and my poses, so I don’t have to worry about it stabbing my avatar. Avatar death is a serious concern on sl.

Two words…project themeory. Isn’t this blazer fantastic? I love the little talons. Rbcg always has great items, and this one’s no different. Overall it was just a good week for shopping. The vest from Kyoot for Stumblebum is adorable. The aforementioned cane for 50L fridays. Also, Atomic released skinny jeans similar to the ones released previously for Stumblebum. I bought them all, as I had said previously that I would. Will probably feature those in the next blog post. Also new are some beauty marks and tattoo layer freckles at L.Fauna! I’m wearing the Monroe one.

Ok, obviously, this is not my typical style. However, I was asked very sweetly by Keira over at Club Industry to take a look at the hunt they had going on in their mall and possibly put together a blog about the items. Now, I don’t generally do hunts. I don’t have the patience, I guess–which sucks because I miss out on A LOT of great, free stuff. However, it’s only a sim wide hunt and took all of 30 minutes, so it was quick, easy, and opened my eyes to a different look. Overall, a 30 minutes well spent.

As is the case with most hunts, I wasn’t fond of all of the items. I’m a picky bitch, I can’t help it. But, there is a decent amount of swag to be discovered if industrial/rivethead/goth style is what you’re looking for. You also might notice a few names participating…Acid and Mala, Snatch, Fallen Gods? I have your attention now! There are also some relatively unknown names (or maybe it’s just that I’ve never heard of them) which you might hear more about in the future if my guess is correct. Nightshade for instance…I was very surprised by the skin they put out as a gift (there’s also one for men too!) and I will definitely be looking more into what they have available.

I decided to do something a bit “different” today. No it’s not sweats. Though, I know you were all looking forward to that. I will do a “Meg’s a Lazy Ass” post, eventually, don’t you worry. But I guess this just isn’t something I’d normally wear, even on sl, so I’m calling it different.

It all started when I got sent a gift card to *LP* Designs. (Thanks Liberty!) Well, I noticed a few things I liked, but these disco hot pants were the first thing to catch my eye. Yeah, I bought them in almost every color. Somehow they just called to me. I think everyone should own a pair, honestly.

Then, I headed over to TDR. I always do this after the collection’s been out for about a week. Why? Because I’m lazy? Not really, I’ve just been spending a lot of time in clubs lately. Of course, I had to grab the special guest item from Milk Motion. I love Milk Motion. Especially this blazer. I think you remember another post where I wore one, but I didn’t like the collar…well, I like the sparkly collar on this blazer. Maybe it’s because it’s white; don’t ask me.

Sometimes, I go through bursts of inspiration. I think that’s what makes me a crappy blogger–I don’t do it religiously, I wait for divine intervention. Oxymoron, that right there. But yeah, sometimes, I’ll just sit around in my sweats on sl like I do in rl. Wait..I shouldn’t have admitted that. Fuck. Oh well. Maybe I’ll do a post of me wearing sweats. Wouldn’t that be fucking awesome?

What caused aforementioned inspiration this time? That would be these boots. Aren’t they just fantastic? Hoorenbeek makes some great boots–for women, too, not just the men. My only complaint is that I wasn’t in love with the black, so I went with tan. Really, are non-black boots going to kill me? I think not. And I do quite like this color. I just like to bitch, apparently.

I went over to the “It was a Blur” sim/exhibit/thing. I like calling it an exhibit because, well, it is. It’s art. Really loved it. So much detail and so well done. Also some great things to buy there. The awesome tattoo I have on is by Pig for the event. Hopefully, I’ll do a more artsy post featuring the exhibit and a few items–but let’s face it, I’m not really all that artistic, so it might be a bit of a stretch for me. Still, I’ll attempt because I was inspired. There’s that word again.
