I really haven’t been on sl the past few days. Instead I’ve been doing things like sleeping and exercising and cooking and knitting–”normal” people things. Ok maybe knitting isn’t so normal and maybe I should have taken up smoking instead of spending so much on yarn, but…I’m getting off-topic aren’t I?

These are the ripped skinny jeans from Atomic. <3. The top's from Atomic too–it was up for project themeory last week, but since Ivy just put the stumblebum item up, I'm pretty sure it's gone. I should have blogged it sooner, right? You have noooo idea how many comments I got on my cleavage. Good thing I didn't wear a cleavage enhancer. Sheesh! I won't lie, despite the unnecessary attention (or sometimes, necessary), I love this top. It's adorable and sexy and came in great colors. Hopefully, like the jeans, it'll get released as a regular item.

Shoe fair is coming….I'm practically counting down the minutes. One can never have too many shoes. Or hair..can't have enough of that, either.

Once again, nothing’s new–except League’s Taylor skin with a blonde hair base. Well, the Kookie hair is new-ish? I don’t know what my problem is. I buy new things, but do I wear them before they’re so old that no one remembers them? No.

I take it back, these jeans are pretty new-ish too. Though the jeans were a Stumblebum item, I believe. Anyhow, I hardly take these jeans off. I do this in rl too. I have one favorite pair of jeans and I wear them until I have to wash them. Then I wear them again. But look at them! They’re so great, aren’t they? Really hope Atomic releases some more denim in the future. I’d have to buy them all.

Am I the last person on sl to have bought these boots? It’s quite possible. When they first came out I was going to get them. I distinctly remember this. In fact, I still had the demo sitting in my invo; I never keep a demo unless I want to buy it. Where did it all go wrong? Either way, I made up for lost time and they’re now mine. Though I wish they’d release a 2.0 version because these invisiprims are huge.

I’m so tired. Sleepy, sleepy, slee–I just dozed off. But, I can’t go to bed without sharing the newest League skin release. Taylor has been released with a blonde hairbase. It only comes in feline, but the makeup on feline is beautiful, so nothing’s lost there. I couldn’t *not* get this skin. Especially with all the blonde hair I’ve been donning lately. The first League skins were great, very defined. Taylor is, of course, as you’ve all already seen, a bit softer–which I personally love. With a lighter hairbase…it’s even hotter in my opinion.

Nothing else in this post is new, obviously. But I liked this outfit. It just fits the mood I’m in lately. I go through phases with fashion. Sometimes they’re influenced, sometimes they’re all me. This is a bit of both. I’ve been a bit on the offense lately, can’t you tell just by looking at me?

I want to try and put up another post today with the new League skin and some older clothes. I like pulling things out of my wardrobe and saying, “wow that’s in there?” I may not be a fashion savant, into couture, or the next editor at Vogue, but I like my style.

Finally put together an outfit from the Tableau Summer Sunrise Festival. Still have another one I wanted to put together too. It’s amazing, so I suggest you swing on over and check it out!–So much good stuff, especially from Sand Shack Surf Co and Fashionably Dead.

Well, it took a while, but in rl I fell into the gladiator sandal fad. My thing is the ones with the fabric ankles instead of the straps. So when I saw these sandals at Atelier AM, I almost died. I was looking on sl for something like them for a few weeks. How could I have missed these? I’ve only been there three, four times the past month. Oh, right they’re on the bottom floor I never knew they had….

I just wrapped up a 36 hour work weekend–three 12 hour days–wrapping up a week in which I broke up with my sl partner after 6 months. Oh and guess who came knocking this morning? Not the ex. Needless to say, I’d like to kick the shit out of something right about now. Instead, I shopped and just dressed like someone who just got finished kicking the shit out of something.

Did you know that Action has new, well new-ish, clothes? I didn’t. Despite their participation in things like Super Bargain Saturday and Project Themeory, I never really made it into the store to look around. Finally, I got around to it, and I must say, I’m broke. Thanks Action! No, but seriously, if you haven’t, go there. Go there now. I command thee! The top I’m wearing? Action. If that isn’t reason enough, I don’t know what is.

This is a rebirth. Figuratively, of course. While I was going to delete my posts from before–and/or start a new blog, I couldn’t do that. Some things, you hold onto…others, well you let go. By letting go of one part of sl, I’ve returned to the part that makes the most sense: shopping. In the end, it’s amazing how a couple hundred lindens can make me feel like a new person. Speaking of new (see what I did there? huh? Yeah, lame segue…) I love, love, love the new K&CO racerbacks. I wish they came in solids, too. I’d buy them all. Makes me want to break out the sewing machine and make a few in rl.

I saw someone wearing the Lionheart skins from Plastik the other day for the first time…I nearly fell over in my chair. They have the sexiest eye make up of any skins I’ve seen. Of course I had to have one–and of course it was hard as hell picking just one. Somehow, I managed. While I loved the Myth tone, I felt a little pale, so I went with my second favorite, Fable. Oh and the hi-def option? Brilliant.
